The Geordie Shore cast have taken to social-media to reveal that their luggage has been lost in transit just hours before the MTV EMAs are set to kick off.

Chloe Ferry, Abbie Holborn, Sophie Kasaei, Nathan Henry, and Sam Gowland have all announced that they’ve been left with nothing to wear to the event after an airline mix-up resulted in their baggage behind left behind in the UK.

“So we have arrived at #Bilbao for the #MTVEMA awards tomorrow which is brilliant !! But what isn’t brilliant is all of our suitcases with our suits/dresses in has not and “is lost in transit” @KLM @KLM_UK,” Sam revealed.

Chloe later announced that she’s beyond “angry” about the situation, while Abbie branded KLM the “worst airline ever” and Nathan joked that he’d have to walk the red-carpet in a tracksuit unless the luggage gets flown out to him soon.

It sounds like the nightmare might be over within a few hours, with the airline's social-media team confirming that their luggage is currently on the “first flight to Bilbao” before apologising for any inconvenience the cast has experienced.

For anyone who needs a bit more information about the EMAs, the show is being held today at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre and will be hosted by singer and actress, Hailee Steinfeld. Performers include Little Mix, David Guetta, Bebe Rexha and many more artists to come.
