6 Reasons Why We're Scared AF to Visit Australia As Told By Geordie Shore Radgies - Exclusive
Geordie Shore starts Tuesday May 15th at 10pm only on MTV!
There's a lot we know about Australia; it's upside down, their toilets flush the other way around from ours and they like throwing shrimps on the barbie.
We also have an idea that there are some pretty serious creepy crawlies there but tbh we didn't really have the full story about just how dangerous AF it is until the Geordie Shore radgies gave us the low down about the Down Under.
Chloe Ferry, Holly Hagan, Nathan Henry, Abbie Holborn, Sam Gowland and newbies Nick Murdoch, Dee Nguyen, Alex Macpherson and Adam Guthrie have whipped out their teacher's hats and are filling us in on why we never want to go...EVER.
CHECK OUT THE EXCLUSIVE VIDEOS OF THE RADGIES TALKING DEADLY AUSSIE THREATS BELOW:
1. Don’t touch a blue ringed octopus…
According to Dee, you and all your mates should beware. She reveals: "It’s got enough venom to kill 26 adults.” WTF.
And if you’re wondering how long it will take you to painfully die, Chloe has the answer: “In minutes!”
2. Stay away from the big boxed jellyfish
New Aussie radgie Nick is ready to school us on some of the danger that lurk beneath the water. He says: “Australia is home to the Big-Boxed Jellyfish. It’s so poisonous, if you get stung, you’ll die in two minutes.”
3. Jaws is pretty much real life down under…
Forget jellyfish, it’s the sharks you have to watch out for when you’re swimming in the ocean.
Geordie lass Abbie explains: “There are 170 types of shark in the Australian sea. F*ck that I’m going nowhere near the beach.”
But the worst of them all? The Great White, duh.
Chloe explains: “The Great White is literally ready to kill anything with a pulse.”
4. If you aren’t eaten by a shark, a crocodile will get you…
But it turns out Chloe’s boyf Sam is here to one-up the lass with a big-teeth-teeny-eyed-croc fact.
He says: “So it’s not only sharks in Northern Australia you need to be scared of when you go in the sea. There are also Salt Water Crocodiles."
And it seems that’s enough for Holly as she admits: “That’s me done with swimming for life.”
5. There are snakes on a plane…train, bus and everywhere else you go
Okay not everywhere but there are a LOT of them.
Abbie explains: “Australia has the most poisonous snakes in the world.”
Yup appaz there are over 120 different species and 12 of them will kill you. Cripes.
6. If you hate Spiders, it’s not for you…
Newbie Alex, who is an Aussie through and through, warns his new Geordie pals of the terrifying possibility of coming to eye to eye(s) with an eight-legged creature.
He warns: “If you come to Australia its’s important to know that there are over 520 different species of spider here. Not only that, we have one of the most deadly ones here – the Funnel Web Spider.”
And as if by magic Chloe reads our minds: “F*ck this! Australia is so scary, I’m packing my bags and getting out of here. See ya later.”
