Vicky Pattison Is Not, We repeat NOT, OK With Body-Shaming
Former Geordie Shore star is typically outspoken on the subject...
The feisty former Geordie Shore cast member has been discussing the thorny topic of body-shaming in an interview with Yahoo Celebrity - and she's got some strong views on the subject.
"I believe that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes, I really do," she declared.
"I didn't lose weight and do the fitness DVD and bring out my range of fitness supplements and proteins and everything to encourage women to look a certain way, to conform."
"I want women to be healthy and strong. The sexiest thing about a woman will always be her confidence, her charisma, who she is, her presence. If you walk into a room and light it up as a size 16, well f**king good for you. If that is where you're comfortable and that is where you're constant, smash it."
And she went on to explain the motives behind her own fitness drive.
"I wasn't comfortable and confident as a size 16, I couldn't be myself, I couldn't do everything I wanted, I couldn't wear the clothes I wanted to, so I lost weight and I did it in a healthy way where I've managed to sustain and maintain it."
"I learnt things about nutrition, I learnt things about exercise, I gained a skill set that has allowed me to stay a size eight two years down the line."
"I go out with my friends, I drink when I want to, I eat Jammie Dodgers when I want to (that's my biscuit choice by the way)."

"That's what's important to me, being strong, being able to be confident with who you are in your own skin, whatever size that is at, own it."
Well said lass. We couldn't agree more.
