George Clooney Marries Amal Alamuddin
The happy couple tied the knot in Venice this weekend...
That's it - George Clooney is officially off the market, ladies.
The actor married his fiancé Amal Alamuddin in Venice yesterday (27 September).
The pair reportedly tied the knot in a 'private symbolic ceremony' in Venice in front of more than a hundred family members and friends.
According to E! News, it's thought the Oscar-winning actor and his new wife will continue the celebration throughout the weekend and then file the paperwork to make their union official on Monday.
Clooney arrived to the ceremony in a fleet of 20 boats, flanked by local police and photographers.
As expected, a slew of Hollywood stars showed up for George and Amal's big day - with the likes of Bill Murray, Matt Damon, Cindy Crawford and hubby Rande Gerber, Emily Blunt and John Krasinski seen arriving for the ceremony.
The actor reportedly said his 'I dos' with the British lawyer on a podium in front of a large wall of white candles just after sunset.
The venue was also said to be decorated with hundreds of hand-crafted candles, tiny white roses, lilies and carnations.
There's been no final word on Amal's wedding dress, but E! also reports that it could be an Alexander McQueen number, designed by it's creative director, Sarah Burton, who made Kate Middleton's iconic gown for her nuptials to Prince William.
