Get Out 2: Director Jordan Peele Wants A 'Get Out' SEQUEL
Director Jordan Peele is keen on a Get Out sequel! Here are all the details.
Having smashed it at the box office and scooped a bunch of Oscar nominations, horror-satire Get Out has enjoyed quite the year. And according to director Jordan Peele, there may be more to come, with the director keen on the idea of a sequel.
“I will definitely seriously consider it,” said Peele, when asked whether a sequel might be on the cards. “I love that universe and I feel like there's more story to tell. I don't know what it is now but there are some loose ends that want to be tied up.”
“I would never want to do a sequel that just feels like for the sake of doing a sequel,” he continues. “I would have to have a story that I feel like would take it up a notch.”
Given how the film ends, there’s probably more scope for a prequel than a sequel, but we’d be more than happy to re-enter the sunken place for another go around. In the meantime we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed for Peele and co. come Oscar night, on 4 March.
