Gigi Hadid is set to be THEE face of 2015 – especially now she’s bagged herself a Maybelline contract.

Taking to Instagram for the big reveal on Tuesday evening, Gigi posted a video, captioned, "I'VE GOT A VERY SPECIAL EXCITING AMAZING ANNOUNCEMENT, and you only have to wait 15 seconds to find out if you press play! Cc: @MAYBELLINE."

The clip shows the Guess girl answering quick fire questions, including “What’s your favourite emoji?” and “Tell us something you have never told anyone else.”

To the latter, she replies, “I’m the new face of Maybelline New York.”

Sharing a first look at her upcoming campaign, Gigi wrote, “I'm so beyond honored & excited (at a loss for words, really) to be the new face of @Maybelline!”

Over on Vogue.com, Gigi shares that her contract was finalised before the New Year, when her agent at IMG handed her a present to unwrap. Inside was the Maybelline contract.

“In middle school, I wasn’t allowed to wear makeup,” said the 19-year-old. “I secretly bought Maybelline’s SuperStay 24HR concealer at CVS. I thought it was the coolest thing in the world.”

Gigi joins Kendall Jenner in the big leagues of cosmetics contracts, with her gal pal being announced as Estée Lauder’s new face, back in November.
