Shawn Mendes Had To Dodge Gigi Hadid's Massive Parachute On The Victoria's Secret Runway

The Angels were out in full force on Thursday night for the annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, with Gigi Hadid dusting off her wings for the first time since 2016.

And while the whole evening seemed to go without any hiccups, Shawn Mendes did narrowly avoid getting taken out by the babe's massive parachute-inspired ensemble.

Gigi donned the floral look, which was part of the Mary Katrantzou x Victoria’s Secret segment of the show, during Shawn's performance of 'lost in Japan'.

And tbh, Shawn was at risk of getting lost in Gigi's parachute.

But luckily video footage shows he was able to walk himself out of the way at exactly the right moment.

Phew! So it was nothing compared to Ariana Grande VS Candice Swanepoel (never forget), and we're pleased that everything went smoothly.

The look was actually Gigi's second ensemble of the show and featured a floral pink bra with a matching turtleneck bodysuit. 

Her first look consisted of a purple push-up tartan bra complimented with a reversible green and red tartan robe, which was tied around her waist.

This marks Gigi's third time walking in the show since 2015, with the model skipping out on last year's Shanghai show due to reported visa issues.

And the babe handles it like a pro every single time, no wing take-outs ever here.
