Girls Aloud 'Forget Song Lyrics In Show Rehearsals'
They needed lyric sheets ahead of their Jingle Bell Ball performance...
Girls Aloudhave revealed they needed lyric sheets for their performance at Capital FM's Jingle Bell Ball yesterday (9th December) as they kept forgetting the words to some of their biggest hits.
According to The Sun, Cheryl, Kimberley, Nadine, Sarah and Nicola - who recently reunited after a three year break - used the lyric sheets to remember their tunes, as well as which parts they are supposed to sing.
Cheryl - who took to the stage at the event on Saturday (8th December) for a solo stint which featured Will.I.Am - confessed to the tabloid: "In rehearsals I was singing Kimberley’s lines and she was like, ‘Cheryl, you don’t sing that’ and I was like, ‘I’m sorry'."
Kimberley added: “We needed lyric sheets for every single song — it was so funny.”
Speaking of their reunion, Sarah said: “It’s a bit nerve-racking — but it’s good to be back.”
Their set at the festive show, held at London's O2 Arena, included No.1 single The Promise before ending with comeback single Something New.
Cheryl also hit the headlines today after reports claimed she's set to return as a judge on The X Factor in 2013 in a bid to boost the show's ratings.
