Girls Defend Britney And Amy
EXCLUSIVE | Girls Aloud stick up for tabloid queens Spears and Winehouse in an MTV News interview
Girls Aloud have defended Britney Spears and Amy Winehouse after their troubles in 2007.
We spoke to the five-some- who release new single Call The Shots on November 26- and asked them about the past year in the celebrity world.
(Watching) Britney has been really hard, said Nadine. There was one picture of her crying on the front of a magazine I couldnt actually look at the magazine it was disturbing me.
Sarah Harding added: I just think when it gets a bit much for them then they should be given a bit of space to breath and get themselves sorted.
Geordie Cheryl Tweedy/Cole also chipped in: She is the queen of pop and shes still got it.
Northern Irish Girl Aloud Nadine also talked about Amy Winehouses drugs overdose and chaotic year:
Amy Winehouse is just such a talent, her voice has brought something back that hasnt been around for decades, said Coyle.
The stunning girls continued with Sarah saying: Isnt it weird that the really talented people always seem to crumble under that kind of artistic pressure?
It is Harding, we agree. Cheryl meanwhile is just pleased that Amy is British: Shes absolutely amazing, shes so talented I feel really proud that shes British and shes in America. (BUT) Its a shame that her personal life overshadows the talent.
