Kimberley Walshhas spoken about her strained bond with Girls Aloudstar details how the two were living together in the beginning but that their friendship took a backseat into the run up to the group’s split.

The 31-year-old said Nadine’s move to Los Angeles was one of the factors that lead the two to becoming distant, tellingCheryl Cole and Nicola Roberts outside of the band.

"As a group and working together, it always worked brilliantly for us, something really special happened when all five of us were together performing.

"But in terms of who I see outside of work, who I go on holiday with and go for dinner with it would be Cheryl and Nicola."

Their former manager, Louis Walsh recently said that the girls “never” got along with each other.

Kimberley claimed that the X Factor judge did “nothing” to help the group at the beginning, adding: "He's a funny character Louis... every day in Girls Aloud was a drama to be honest!"
