Tweedy Slams Girls Aloud Split Rumours
They're actually working on a new album, apparently...
Cheryl Tweedy has denied reports that Girls Aloud are heading for a split.
Rumours abound that the girl group are to part ways after their forthcoming Greatest Hits album due to infighting amongst the popstrels.
However, Tweedy has refuted the claims, declaring that the fivesome are keen to release a follow-up to their previous album Chemistry. "We went into the studio to record three new songs for the Greatest Hits," she said. "We've come up with six tracks we love and are now thinking we should do a new studio album instead."
Cheryl, who is due to marry England ace Ashley Cole this weekend, added; "Pop is on a roll right now with Lily Allen and Nelly Furtado - and we want to continue being a part of it."
