Weekend: Pop Shots
The Girls take to the town, Lee Ryan takes to the Silver screen and Blur are talking about a comeback...
The Girls Aloud themselves a break from recording their new Comic Relief Single - a partnership with pop sweethearts The Sugababes - and took a night on the town with their fellas last night.
Cheryl Cole was celebrating Chelsea's Champions League pass with footy hubby Ashley, while the not-at-all desperate housewife Nadine Coyle took to the dancefloor with Latin lover-boy Jesse Metcalf, with whom she has recently been reunited.
Nicola, Kimberley and, of course, Sarah were there as well - though the latter, never one to shy from the limelight, caused a stir this time by leaving early!
Maybe she's trying to get into Santa's good books - wonder what she's hoping to find in her stockings this Christmas morning!
Meanwhile, another band member who left the party early and is now looking for something exciting in his Xmas stocking is former Blue boy Lee Ryan, who is now looking to cross the pond and turn his hand at Directing, reports The Daily Star.
Ryan, whose previous screen appearances are limited to Holby City and the forthcoming Brit flick The Heavy, has told The Star about plans to move to LA to chase dreams on the silver screen.
He added, "I have lots of family and friends in LA, so that helps."
Bet it does Lee! The weather's not so bad either...
Finally, today, is the news that innovative indie rockers Blur have this time taken their lead from All Saints and Take That of all people, and have hinted at a reunion.
Bassist Alex James told Radio 5 last night that he "saw Graham (Coxon) last week and there may be some news, but I don't want to rush anything."
Since the split, however, Damon Albern, the band's illusive lead has had achieved global success with the Gorillaz and now The Good, The Bad and The Queen whose new album was released to some critical acclaim.
As a result, it may not be just a guitarist that Blur are missing anymore - talking Damon back in again will be another feat altogether!
Having said that ... Damon seems to be up for most things - so who knows!
