Bruce Springsteen For Glastonbury

THE BOSS is finally confirmed for the June festival down in Somerset

Bruce Springsteen has been confirmed to headline Glastonbury festival this summer.

The rock legend had long been rumoured for the hippy-ish event but has now become the first headliner announced.

Reports suggest Blur and Neil Young will be acts topping the mainstage bill on the other two days.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have been confirmed for Saturday June 27. They play Hyde Park for Hard Rock Calling the next day.

The same slot was 'controversially' filled by Jay-Z last year in a break from the tradition of having big indie bands in the slot.

Franz Ferdinand recently revealed they will play Saturday at Glasto too having released their third album last month.

Tickets are already sold-out.
