Chris Martin Isn’t Headlining Glastonbury With A Coldplay Supergroup, SO WHO IS?

At this moment in time, we’re prepared to have a punt with just about anyone! Er, One Direction?

Emily Eavis has taken to Twitter to deliver the latest update on Glastonbury Festival’s third and final headliner, revealing that only one band will be headlining the Pyramid Stage on June 28...not two as previously thought.

Giving little away, Emily replied to a Twitter user asking if a "charity super group arranged by Chris Martin" would be taking to the stage- was thisnews that everyone has been waiting for?

She hit back...

The festival’s organiser was following up on comments made by her father Michael Eavis, who earlier this week (April 22)told revelers to expect two acts combined and reportedly quipped that Colplay starChris WAS involved.

The news has caused intrigue, with Emily previously ruling out Coldplay in an interview with eFestivals.

“It's not Coldplay, this is the first year that most of the rumours are wrong,” she told the website. “Everyone has said it's someone, but sorry about that, it's not Coldplay.”

Despite being (sort of) ruled out, the'Ghost Stories' band are still the bookies’ favourite to top Sunday night.

Oasis, The Stone Roses, Paul McCartney, David Bowie, Radiohead and Muse are still among the list of performers that could be play, after news emerged that th headliner would most likely be British.

That said,it could be time to start thinking outside the box, as we didby tipping a possible Noel Gallagher and Damon Albarn collaboration.

However the way things are going, the news is likely to be kept top secret until June 1, when the announcement is due…
