Definitely No More Tickets
A batch of unsold Glastonbury tickets went on sale again on Thursday, April 15 but had sold out by the end of the day.
It was thought that eager punters had bought up all 112,000 tickets in less than 24 hours after they originally went on sale, but more were made available on Thursday due to the "reallocation of duplicate tickets". The numerous problems punters faced when buying tickets meant that many people had ordered twice, hence the 1,000 unsold tickets. Reports suggest that festival organiserMichael Eavis is considering selling Glastonbury 2005 tickets via a lottery style system to avoid the problems reoccurring.
Already booked to headline at this year's festival are Oasis, Paul McCartney and Muse; acts due to join them include Basement Jaxx, Ms Dynamite, James Brown and Morrissey.
