Glastonbury Ticket Deadline Extended
Now you've got until March 5 to register
Michael Eavis has shone a ray of hope for festival-goers everywhere by extending the registration deadline for Glasto tickets this year.
The new ticketing system this year requires people to register in advance to be able to buy passes when they go on sale on April 1. And now, due to popular demand, the deadline for registration " due to close at midnight tonight (Feb 28) - has been extended to March 5.
The line-up hasn't officially been announced yet, but a few bands have already let slip that they're playing, including The Who, Arcade Fire, Arctic Monkeys, Kaiser Chiefs and The Rakes. The naughty boys.
Sign-ups reportedly rose to more than 1,200 an hour yesterday and so Eavis relented on the cut-off point, saying that enforcing a stringent deadline was "not very Glastonbury".
As always, the festival takes over Worthy Farm in Somerset from Friday June 22 to Sunday June 24.
