The duo managed to take time out from their super-busy touring schedule to put in an appearance at Worthy Farm - though they were strictly off duty for the duration of their stay, which included watching their pop pal James Bay from the side of the stage during his set.
They won't be pulling a three-day epic however, since they have to be back at work in Finland this evening for a 1D gig.
A spot of rain has failed to dampen spirits at the festival, which last night saw headliner Florence Welch of Florence + The Machine strip to her bra during her set.
Other notable moments from Friday on the farm included a surprise reunion set from The Libertines - with troubled star Pete Doherty looking fuller-figured than ever following his recent stint in a Thai rehab facility.
And Mark Ronson's star-studded set was the highlight of the night for many fans, with Boy George, Mary J Blige, Grandmaster Flash and George Clinton among his many helpers.
But he didn't get a big name to replace Amy Winehouse on vocal duties for Valerie - instead asking the crowd to sing her part.
The chaos continues today and tomorrow.
