Prince Set For Surprise Appearance At Glastonbury?
Purple one reported to be in negotiations to play an unannounced show at festival...
Prince fans may have been disappointed that the pop maestro hasn't been added to the official bill at the Glastonbury Festival - but they may still be in luck.
The Sun reports that the prolific pop star is still in talks with the organisers - and wants to play a surprise set at the enormous event this weekend coming.
A source told the paper: "Prince wants to show up somewhere as a surprise. He has spent so much time in the UK lately, he'd love to do an impromptu set."
And the tabloid also reports that Metallica had considered playing a song by Prince as part of their set - in a playful nod to Jay-Z's cheeky rendition of Oasis' Wonderwall a few years ago.
"There was the suggestion of them covering Prince, reminiscent of when Jay-Z came on to Wonderwall, but it got a firm 'No', mostly from singer James Hetfield."
The festival gets under way in Somerset on Wednesday this week.
