Adam Lambert Brings The Darkness On Glee
The American Idol star sings 'I Believe In A Thing Called Love'...
The American Idol star plays Elliott in the musical show, which returns to US screens tomorrow after a mid-season break with an episode called 'Frenemies'.
"This episode, I think it's just exploring the relationship of all the characters that are friends and hang out with each other but they're having some drama," Lambert explained.
Chris Colfer, who plays Kurt Hummel on the show, added: "Elliott is insanely talented and Kurt becomes very self-conscious about it because Kurt started the band as a venue for himself and he's afraid that Elliott is gonna be taking away some of the spotlight."
The two end up duetting on The Darkness track. "The show has never really done a big rock song like this," Chris said.
In the ep, the boys head to a guitar shop where they break into the all-singing, all-dancing number, which even includes a bit of dancing on a stripper pole.
"Adam was like, the stripper pole is all you, you have fun with that," laughed Chris. "And I did!"
Lambert, meanwhile, was impressed by Chris's performance, saying: "He's got some moves!"
