Britney Spears Glee Tribute 'Breaks TV Ratings Records'

Britney's tribute episode, which aired Stateside on Tuesday evening, has now become the second most-watch episode ever of the musical TV show, giving it a 4% increase on the season premiere.
Glee's most watched episode of all time is Hell-O, which marked the shows return back in April after its four-month break and drew around 13.7 million viewers.
The Power of Madonna show scored 13 million earlier this year, with the Gleek's Lady GaGa tribute episode, entitled Theatrically, enticing 11.4 million viewers back in May.
As we previously reported, Miss. Spears herself took to Twitter to praise the tribute show, giving a special mention to Heather Morris, who plays cheerleader Brittany in Glee, for recreating some of her top performances.
She also tweeted that watching Lea Michele recreate her famous hit, Baby One More Time, 'brought back memories,'
The Toxic hitmaker, who appeared in the episode herself as a cheerleader, celebrated the success of her tribute episode with a pink-TV shaped cake.
UK fans of the show will have to wait until January 2011 to see Britney's Glee tribute.
