Glee star Chris Colfer has responded [uuid=fa834d67-20e5-48d0-84d5-180bbbcbdd1e]to the news that he will be leaving[/uuid] the hit US series, stating it is "definitely not" his choice to quit being a Gleek.
[uuid=fa834d67-20e5-48d0-84d5-180bbbcbdd1e]As we reported yesterday[/uuid], the shows co-creator Ryan Murphy confirmed Glee favourites Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and Colfer will be graduating at the end of season three.

Speaking of his character's exit, Chris - who plays Kurt Hummel in the show - told TV Guide: "I think it was something we all knew was coming, just because Ryan has said from the beginning [uuid=701d3ab7-d4e2-4b0c-9732-5987a211589c]that people would be graduating."[/uuid]
"It's definitely not my choice, but I absolutely respect it and understand why it has to happen. Ryan has said, and I love this, that there's nothing sadder than a high school student with a bald spot - it's true! This is what happens in real life. Kids grow up and they move on."

The 21-year old added: "It makes sense that that's what we would do. I am very much looking forward to the graduation gown that Kurt wears because Lord knows it's going to be out of this world."
