Glee Creator Planning Gay Awareness Episode

Glee creator Ryan Murphy is planning a new gay awareness episode of the musical TV series, after the recent suicides of bullied homosexual teens in the US.
Murphy is hoping Glee, which features a gay character, played by Chris Colfer, will show fans battling taunts for their sexuality, how to cope.
Matthew Morrison, who plays teacher Will Schuester in the hit US TV show told E! Online: "Ryan wants to do an episode about it, which I think is very smart of him. As a cast I don't know much we can do."
"That's why I think an episode would be great... Ryan is very current with staying on the times, so I think it would be this season if it were to happen."
Kevin McHale (Artie Abrams in Glee), is also welcoming the idea of a homosexual awareness episode adding: "It's sad that it's taken these past few weeks and horrible tragedies to really let people know what's going on."
He continued: "I think being in our position and Ryan taking that on is great... Hopefully we can move the general public and let the kids and the parents watching the show know that everybody deserves to be loved."
America has been rocked by a string of suicides that have been linked to sexuality and bullying, the most recent being 18-year old Tyler Clementi, who is said to have killed himself after a roommate posted footage of him having sex with another man on the internet.
