“I think he’s going to be Dianna Agron’s new love interest,” Glee star Matthew Morrison, who plays the singing club’s teacher, Mr Schue, told E! Online last night.

And, true to form, Chace will be playing a preppie Ivy League student called Biff.

“He’s kind of a Yalie degenerate,” Matt said of Crawford’s character.

The 100th episode will reunite most of the original members of Glee, including Dianna, Heather Morris, Amber Riley and Mark Salling.

In addition to Chace, there will be guest stars a-plenty, as it’s also been confirmed that Gwyneth Paltrow will reprise her role as substitute teacher – and Matthew Morrison's love interest - Holly Holiday.

While Gwynnie belted out a few showstoppers during her last stint on the show, (in series 2) there’s no word yet on whether Chace will be singing.

Either way, we’re just thrilled to see Gossip Girl's Nate Archibald back on our screens!
