Gonzo Tour Kicks Off

Its our 5th birthday so were around the country with Funeral For A Friend, Bloc Party, Rumblestrips and you lot

Gonzo On Tours 5th Birthday has started in style with a top notch gig in Birmingham.

Funeral For A Friend headlined the tiny Barfly show supported by Glagows The Dykeenies and Australian young-guns Operator Please.

Gonzo mainman Zane Lowe not only caused a stir by throwing FFAF singer Matt Davies' shoes into the audience but also played a raucous DJ set at the aftershow. The footwear offence meant our presenter later gave the Welshman his own trainers as a replacement while two thieving fans went home with rather smelly mementos of the night.

The 6 date tour heads around the country over the next two weeks with Gonzos favourite indie talent in tow.

Rumblestrips play tonights show in Cardiff, supported by Blood Red Shoes, we then end the Weekend In The City of London for Bloc Party and Does It Offend You Yeah?

Next weekend we hit the north of the country (FULL DATES HERE) with more of the same and acts including The Cribs, Jack Penate and A VERY SPECIAL GUEST who you may just have heard of!

Check back here for photos of the mayhem and stories from the road, but most of all watch out for our pink bus careering into a town near you.
