Google Glass 'On Sale This Year For Under £1k'

Revolutionary Android-powered eyewear set to hit the stores...

Google Glass eyewear will be released on the market by the end of this year and will cost less than £1,000, it has been reported.
According to The Verge, Google has confirmed that it is going ahead with production of the Android-powered glasses, which are a major advancement in how we use technology.
The web giant showcased a prototype last summer which included video and audio functionality, as well as a built-in accelerometer.
It is rumoured that Google are thinking of opening dedicated stores, with trained staff on-hand, to offer customers detailed demonstrations of the eyewear's sophisticated technology.
Since it's initial showcase, company co-founder Sergey Brin has been spotted testing out the device on the New York subway, and CEO Larry Page brought the eyewear to London last year, demoing it at an event.
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has confessed that he "can't wait" to own a pair.
Google are also rumoured to be launching a [uuid=e1968a52-6528-470d-8fa3-6376ce2b744f]new Nexus smartphone[/uuid].
