Damon Albarn: ‘I’d Say No To Glee’

We won’t be hearing Stylo on the show anytime soon…

Gorillaz and Glee fans hoping they’d one day hear Stylo belted out by Lea Michele or Dare sung by Matthew Morrison look set to be disappointed.
The group’s mainman Damon Albarn has said he’d never let his songs be used on the massive TV show.

He told Associated Press: “We wouldn't let that happen, And not that they've asked us because they haven't, and now they definitely won't.”

The Blur singer also slammed the show calling it “a very poor substitute for the real thing.”

Loads of massive acts have previously licensed their songs to be used on Glee including Duffy, Amy Winehouse and Britney Spears.

Gorillaz release their excellent new single Doncamatic next month and also play UK arena live dates.
