Gorillaz have announced two live dates at London’s Roundhouse.
The shows on the 29th and 30th April will feature a host of guest vocalists including De La Soul, Kano, Bashy, Shaun Ryder, Bobby Womack and Mos Def.

The band are currently playing a small warm-up tour, but the Roundhouse gigs will be the band’s first full UK shows since their five night residency at Manchester’s Opera House in 2005 and will include animation and films created by Jamie Hewlett.
However band member Murdoc seemed a bit surprised by the announcement,

“Wait, are these gigs even in my diary?! I don't remember agreeing to this! Fan club tribute nights are one thing but I'm going to have to check my Svengali handbook to see how to handle this one. Hmmm. I'll just have to turn up and lob in my verbal grenades from the sidelines. WATCH OUT CAMDEN!!! I'm coming for your goth-girls and your Gorillaz impostors!”
Tickets go on sale this Friday (26th March), but members of the Gorillaz fan club with be able to get hold of tickets from tomorrow.
