Gorillaz Announce World Tour
Including 20 US shows…
Gorillaz have announced new shows for their ‘Escape To Plastic Beach Tour’ but also cancelled some UK dates.
The group- led by Damon Albarn and artists Jamie Hewlett- will now tour across the world but have been forced to reschedule and cut some gigs.
In total the collective will play 20 US shows and 10 across Europe starting on November 11. Dates originally set for Newcastle, Glasgow have been cancelled.
Guests likely to join the cartoon band on stage include Mos Def, Bobby Womack, Gruff Rhys, De La Soul, Kano and The Clash members Paul Simonon and Mick Jones.
The tour will include their now trademark animations and theatrical production.
