There Was A Gossip Girl Reunion At The Oscars – But Are Lily And Rufus Dating IRL?

Kelly Rutherford blew our minds earlier today, when she posted a snap of herself, Chase Crawford, Michelle Trachtenberg and Jessica Szohr on Instagram, at a post-Oscars bash. Why, we hear you ask? Because that’s one big ol’ Gossip Girl reunion.

Playing Lily van der Woodsen, Nate Archibald, Georgina Sparks and Vanessa Abrams, the GG gang may have been lacking the sparkle of Serena or Blair, but it definitely made us long for the Upper East Side.

In other Gossip Girl news, rumour has it Kelly is dating former co-star Matthew Settle IRL, meaning that Lily and Rufus Humphrey – who were one of our favourite couples on the show, second only to Blair and Chuck – have finally ended up together.

With ‘Lily and Rufus’ trending worldwide on Twitter, we thought their relationship had actually been confirmed, but it seems #Settleford fans are just getting really excited over Matthew and Kelly’s frequent Instagram posts to each other.

There was this cryptic little chess number from Matt on Friday, captioned, “@kellyrutherford things are never black and white.” Did we mention he finished with a kiss face emoji?

Before that, Matthew even sent his on-screen wife a Valentine’s message.

And then there was this cute AF post from Kelly two weeks ago, with the message, “Was just going to Instagram this photo when you called @matthew_settle . (It really shows how mature we are.) #missingmatt.”
