When Batfleck was cast as The Dark Knight in Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, the internet went into a bit of a meltdown. Our favourite of the reaction tweets? This nifty, informative one from our friends at MTV Geek. And - side note - that tweet should include "and Daredevil".

When Batman vs Superman director Zack Snyder released the first official still from the movie (above), it sparked a host of very silly photoshop spin-offs, most notably the 'Sad Batman' meme.
