The foo-fighting rocker will be joined by Nine Inch Nails, QOTSA and more...
Foo Fightersfrontman Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age and Fleetwood Mac guitarist Lindsey Buckingham.
The veteran rock star – who first found fame as drummer for Nirvana – has enlisted Trent Reznor, Josh Homme and Lindsey to put on a “knock out” set according to Grammy’s exec producer, Ken Ehrlich.
"There's nothing better than when the Grammys can rock out, and to have these artists all together on one stage, doing a number that, when they presented it to us, knocked us out,” Ken told Spin magazine.
“[It] is going to turn out to be one of those Grammy moments that people talk about for a long time. Long live Trent, Josh, Dave and Lindsey and these great bands!"
Despite Foo Fighters not having released any new material during the past year, Dave has been nominated for two Grammy awards related to a documentary he produced, called Sound City.
He is also credited as a writer on Jay Z’s Holy Grail, which has been nominated for Best Rap Song.
