Sam Smith & Mary J Blige Is Just Too Much Soul To Handle
Duo celebrate Sam's success with uplifting performance of 'Stay With Me'...
Sam Smith had a lot to smile about last night (February 8) at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards. Not only did he bag four gongs, he also got to share the stage with R&B legend Mary J. Blige for an elegant performance of his now award-winning Stay With Me.
Having won four of the six Grammys he was nominated for, Smith was joined on stage after the first verse by his musical soulmate as gospel singers and an orchestra lit up the stage as well as the twinkles in the duo's eyes.
Taking Smith in her hand, the pair sang their hearts out to each other, Sam lapping up the moment and Mary emanating praise and respect on what will no doubt be yet another huge highlight of this talented guy's career.

But I still need love 'cause I'm just a man
These nights never seem to go to plan
I don't want you to leave, will you hold my hand?
Oh, won't you stay with me?
'Cause you're all I need
This ain't love, it's clear to see
But darling, stay with me
Why am I so emotional?
This is not a good look, gain some self-control
And deep down I know this never works
But you can lay with me so it doesn't hurt
Oh, won't you stay with me?
'Cause you're all I need
This ain't love, it's clear to see
Oh, won't you stay with me?
Oh, won't you stay with me?
'Cause you're all I need
This ain't love, it's clear to see
But darling, stay with me
Oh, won't you stay with me? (won't you stay? Won't you stay?)
'Cause you're all I need
This ain't love, it's clear to see (this ain't love, no, no, no)
But darling, stay with me
