Just because Selena Gomez is single, doesn't mean she spent Valentine's Day at home on her own crying into a tub of Ben and Jerrys.

In fact she did anything but, as she told Ryan Seacrest at the Grammys that she spent the night with her girlfriends.

“I was with my best friends,” SelGo said about her Valentine’s Day. “We’re all single.” To which Ryan replied, “I call it singles awareness day — S.A.D.”

And no, the internet was not impressed.

But thankfully Selena is savvy enough not to take any of the E! host's mansplaining, telling him her night was actually anything but sad as she hung out with her friends.

To prove her point even more so, Selena rocked up to the Grammys with the hottest date ever: Taylor Swift.
