Green Day must be buzzing right now after scoring their third Official UK Albums Chart No.1 with 'Revolution Radio'!

Not to brag but ina Top 5 full of new entries this week, the band's twelfth (yes, TWELFTH) studio album outsold nearest rival Barry Gibb's 'In The Now' by a ratio of 2:1!

On hearing the newsGreen Day, who are nominated for two EMAs this year (vote for them if you like over at MTVEMA.com), told OfficialCharts.com: "The UK has always been a huge part of our story and to have a chart-topping album at this stage of our career is especially gratifying."

ElsewhereCraig David,last week's No.1 with 'Following My Intuition', falls to No.5 while Alter Bridge's 'The Last Hero' enters at No.3 and Kaiser Chiefs' brand new LP 'Stay Together' enters at No.4.
