Green Day are releasing a surprise new single Working Class Hero in aid of charity tomorrow.

The track is a John Lennon cover and will be on sale in aid of Amnesty Internationals Sudan appeal.

It will feature on a full album of Lennon songs called Instant Karma: the campaign to save Darfur due out in late May. Also appearing on the record are U2, Black Eyed Peas, Christina Aguilera and Snow Patrol.
