Green Day news the three-piece are confirmed to play the Lollapalooza festival in the US this August alongside Snoop Dogg, Kings Of Leon and Beastie Boys.

The band announced a full US tour earlier this week. 21^st Century Breakdown will- like American Idiot- tackle political issues and will be split into three parts.
