Gremlins Reboot In The Pipeline?

Report claims studio is in talks over cult horror comedy classic...

Warner Bros are reportedly in talks with movie legend Gremlins.

According to Vulture, the studio is in the midst of negotiations with Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment with a view to getting their hands on the rights to the 1984 film.

Rumours of a remake or a third sequel to the original horror comedy have long been doing the rounds but no film has ever made it to production.

But this time it's hoped Warner Bros can pull off the deal with Spielberg, though a spokesman told Vulture that the "appropriate executives were not available for comment".

And adding fuel to the fire, Moviehole claims Man Of Steel director Zack Snyder could be at the helm should the reboot happen.

If the movie is made, original stars Zach Galligan and Pheobe Cates could be in line for small roles, but it's likely that Gizmo and friends would appear in a CGI form.
