UPDATED: Did Bradley Cooper Just Spoil Guardians of the Galaxy 2?

Guardians of the Galaxy (Vol.1 and Vol.2) director James Gunn has tweeted to confirm that Bradley Cooper's comments may not have been all as they appeared. It turns out he was just mighty confused.

In response to all the stories coming out, Bradley Cooper didn’t reveal anything. He just got the script and hasn’t read it yet. I promise.

ORIGINAL STORY

We, like the rest of the world, are rather excited about Guardians of the Galaxy 2.

What with it being a Marvel movie, its secrets are hidden away more securely than Thanos' Infinity Gauntlet. But that didn't stop us trying to chat to Bradley Cooper (AKA Rocket Raccoon) during promotion for his chef drama Burnt.

And is it us or did he massively just spoil the sequel's villain, confirming it's going to definitely be Thanos?

Either that or he's massively confused. Regardless, we're enjoying his reaction.

While we were there, we figured it'd be rude not to ask his co-star Sienna Miller about the chances of her taking up the cowl as Marvel's first female-fronted superhero movie, Captain Marvel. Her reaction, again, was pretty amazing. WE WOULD PAY TO WATCH THESE MOVIES.
