Here's When You'll Be Able To Watch Guardians Of the Galaxy 3
Director James Gunn has confirmed when Guardians Of The Galaxy 3 will hit cinemas.
James Gunn has given the first teaser of what we can expect from Marvel’s “Phase 4” production slate, by confirming that a third Guardians Of The Galaxy film is officially on the way. The director revealed the news on Twitter, responding to a fan question about the second sequel with the reply, “coming in 2020”.
The director didn’t shed any more light on what we can expect from the third part of the trilogy, but has previously described it as the “epic conclusion” to the series. Which is pretty much what you’d expect him to say, isn’t it? Whether the franchise continues beyond that remains to be seen, although we wouldn’t be surprised to see spin-offs and origin stories, even if the main saga calls it a day at three films.
A 2020 release date would see the film land just after the sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming, as Marvel prepares to begin its next phase of releases after the Infinity War two-parter. Speaking of which, that’s where we can next look forward to seeing Star-Lord and pals, with the first instalment of the epic showdown with Thanos hitting our screens on 27 April 2018.
