Gwen Stefani - 'My Life Is Crazy!'

Gwen talks about working with Pharrell and are No Doubt reforming?

Gwen Stefani says her life is a rollercoaster ride.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with MTV News, Gwen revealed that rumours about No Doubt putting out a new record in 2006 might be true. "We've been talking a lot about doing a new record," the lead-singer-turned-solo-artist said. "It's going to be very interesting now that we've all gone off on these different journeys to come back together and see how that's gonna inspire this next record."
"I don't know what to think, I can't predict what's gonna happen next. I mean, I never thought that No Doubt would last this long or that I would do this record, or any of this. This is the craziest life ever. I'm like, 'who's life is it'?"
She then went on to talk about her third single out of 'Love Angel Music Baby'. "'Hollaback Girl' was one of the last tracks that I wrote", Gwen said. "I knew that I kind of had this missing vibe on the album... I had so many songs that I could've put on the record, and for me to go back in the studio at that point, it was kind of tortuous!"
"I basically called Pharrell, and I'm like, 'dude, what's going on? We didn't do a track together, it's crazy', and next thing I know I'm on a plane going to NY and into the studio for another week of torture... But and we ended up going in there and it was so fun and easy. It's an attitude song; it's a song that says, 'you know, you don't have to answer back'."
'Hollaback Girl' is released in the UK on May 23.
