PrettyLittleThing Are Now Showing Outfits On Two Different Sized Models
Consumers are calling for other retailers to follow suit
A PrettyLittleThing clothing range that Hailey Baldwin is fronting is being praised by consumers for showing the products on two different sized models.
The #EveryBODYinPLT campaign makes it super easy for people to imagine what the clothes would actually look like on their own bodies and fans are now calling for other online retailers to follow suit.
For example, the Silver Glitter Strappy Cowl Neck Bodycon Dress is pictured on both a size 6 and a size 18 woman.
"@OfficialPLT are slaying, this is what every clothing website need, nothing more annoying than seeing something on only a plus size model or only on another model whose petite,” one person praised.
Another said: “This is amazing! But can we also get images of what clothes look on models of different heights because trouser and Jean shopping is a big issue when you’re 5ft tall,” while someone else emphasised the importance of racial diversity.
The campaign’s size 18 model, Leslie Sidora, said: "I've never felt this excited or proud of my body and myself. It feels amazing that companies like PLT gives a chance to curvy girls like me to show everyone that there's not just one body type.
"I shoot for PLT every week it is noticeable how many more opportunities there are to represent these girls. I really hope we continue to double-shoot in the future for the plus size and main range - and that my plus-sized sisters will feels as amazing as I did when we shot them!"
