Stranger Things’ Barb
There will be more Eleven-types about this weekend than there are Kim K selfies. Instead why not choose to imitate the real star of the Netflix show – Barb. Pull on your finest mom jeans then raid your mum’s closet for a suitably frumpy blouse. Add 80s specs (your mum probably has some stashed away somewhere) and coif that hair ‘do. Slap on some blue eyeshadow and pearly lipstick then grab a ring-binder folder. Sorted.
Topical and divisive! For Donald Trump, nick one of your dad’s/brother’s/uncle’s massive suits, add a shirt and tie then get to work on the face. An orange-tinged visage with panda eyes is best. And don’t forget the comb over! Meryl Streep mimicked the Republican nominee brilliantly this year.
One of the easiest and most comfy. Slip on a matching trackie set and some trainers then pop a beanie on your head. Take a spray bottle of water out and generously spritz your face intermittently for a just-worked-out vibe.
Got a fave emoji? Honour it by transforming INTO it. You could twin with your bestie and go as the high kicking sass pots? The dancing lady would also be easy. Simply throw on a red dress and black heels et voila! Having your arm raised all night might become a bit tiresome…
Pop Art Babe
This is all about the make up. Turn yourself into a living comic book using coloured dots, smudge-proof liquid eyeliner and white face paint.
