Halsey Reveals That Her Next Studio Album Is Coming This Year
Halsey 3.0 is on it’s way people, so grab your tissues.
Halsey took to Twitter to announce some huge news yesterday.
The singer revealed that more music is in the making and coming our way sooner than we think. Although she recently teased that there would be no new music for “at least a couple years,” the singer had a new update for her fans, and it’s time to prepare yourselves.
I'm 11 minutes away, so why aren't you here?
I think I missed you callin' on the other line
I'm just thinkin' all these thoughts up in my mind
Talkin' love but I can't even read the signs
I would sell my soul for a bit more time
You stain all on my body like you're red wine
You're the fuckin' acid to my alkaline
You run your middle finger up and down my spine
I'm sorry there was no one to apologize
I'm so fuckin' sorry, I'm so fuckin' sorry
I've been playing somebody and it's helping nobody
And her lipstick arithmetic didn't stick
And now I'm sick, throwing fits
And yeah, I've seen you in my head every fuckin' day since I left
You on the floor with your hands 'round your head
And I'm down and depressed
All I want is your head on my chest
Touchin' feet, I'm 11
I'm 11 minutes away and I have missed you all day
I'm 11 minutes away, so why aren't you here?
You're 11 minutes away and I have missed you all day
You're 11 minutes away, so why aren't you here?
I'm 11 minutes away
You're 11 minutes away
Tell me what you need, I can make you more than what you are
Come and lay the roses on the floor
Every single Sunday, don't get bored
I just want to freeze, I can give you more than what you are
Now I see you standing all alone
I never thought the world would turn to stone
So call me stupid, call me sad
You're the best I've ever had
You're the worst I've ever had
And that keeps fuckin' with my head
Call me stupid, call me sad
You're the best I've ever had
You're the worst I've ever had
And that keeps fuckin' with my head
(I'm 11 minutes away and I have missed you all day)
(I'm 11 minutes away, so why aren't you here?)
You're 11 minutes away and I have missed you all day
You're 11 minutes away, so why aren't you here?
I'm 11 minutes away
You're 11 minutes away
So call me stupid, call me sad
You're the best I've ever had
You're the worst I've ever had
And that keeps fuckin' with my head
Call me stupid, call me sad
You're the best I've ever had
You're the worst I've ever had
And that keeps fuckin' with...
I'm 11 minutes away (Away) and I have missed you all day (All day)
I'm 11 minutes away, so why aren't you here?
You're 11 minutes away (Away) and I have missed you all day (All day)
I'm 11 minutes away
So why aren't you here?
Her new album, which is still untitled, will be released THIS year. That’s right, and although we don’t have a release date just yet, Halsey is insisting that she’s taking this time to make it as perfect as possible for her fans.
Check out Halsey’s announcement for when her next studio album is coming below:

The announcement came in response to a thread of fans sharing their tattoos that were Halsey inspired, the singer was “really moved in such a massive way,” that she knew it was time to share an update with her following.
The singer wrote: “I know you guys are anxious for new music and new memories. for touring and traveling with your friends. for events and pop ups and meeting new people. for music video screenshots. for group chats and late night. thank you for being patient with me. I want it to be perfect.
“Writing this album has been a lesson in forgiving myself. In being proud of myself and kind to myself despite how much this world is designed to make you hate yourself. I hope when it’s finally in your hands it brings you that same peace. It’s not a quiet peace. It’s a loud one.”

The singer is in the works of cooking up a world-class album, and we can’t wait to hear it. We’re so thrilled this album is going to be all about self-love, and are so ready to hear an empowered female artist singing about loving and forgiving herself, despite society's negative stigma around doing so.
The news comes after Halsey swooped up the iHeartRadio Fangirls Award at the 2019 showcase, an accolade she received for having the most supportive fans. We couldn’t be more proud.
Bring on Halsey 3.0.
