Dad Of The Century Builds An Incredible Life-Sized Diagon Alley For His Kids

A muggle after our own hearts.

As muggles go, there's no-one out there with quite so much magical potential as Jon Chambers; a Harry Potter enthusiast who has spent the past six months turninghisdriveway intoa do-it-yourself Diagon Alley.

The construction is based in Seattle, with the dad of the entire millennia revealing in an interview with GeekWire that he's passed down his love of butterbeer, hippogriffs, and wizarding hijincksto his young children.

'Let's all get checking out an update from MTV News...'

After coming up with the genius idea to introduce a splash of magic to his premises, Chambers has spent a good portion of 2017 devoting both time and money into totally transforming his house.

For anyone wondering if said man is using a stolen time-turner to squeeze all this DIY in, it turns out he actually quit his job in order to dedicate his attention tothe things that really matter in life. AKA magic.

It's worth mentioning that this guy has experience in illustration and construction, so it's not like he just picked up a paintbrush, dismantled his garage on a whim, and got stuck in.

The driveway includes six storefronts that feature digital windows and 3D printed props, with Chambers even hiring actors to play characters from the Harry Potter universe over Halloween.

Even better, proceeds from the ticketed attraction will be going towards research into pancreative cancer, a condition that tragically took the life of his family friend, Matt Bencke.

We're no Sorting Hat, but we think Jon Chambers has a pretty good chance of becoming an honorary Gryffindor over this.
