Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince is released on July 17 and by the look of it will be a dark and dramatic film.

In the trailer modern London landmarks are seen as well as more familiar Potter icons like Hogwarts and Dumbledore.

Although the Half Blood Prince is the penultimate book there will be two more films after this outing for Daniel Radcliffe and the gang. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be split into two parts.

The film is directed by David Yates who also helmed The Order of the Phoenix- which was released in 2007.
