Good news for Harry Potter fans as JK Rowling is releasing three new short stories about three of your favourite side characters from the series. Full story at mtv.co.uk
Galloping gargoyles, there is some SERIOUSLY exciting news for anyone missing the magical world of Harry Potter as author JK Rowling has just revealed that there are three more mini books coming to the series.
The theme of the books is Hogwarts and will follow three of your favourite characters from the HP series.
Even better, they will be landing on September 6th, meaning you can mug up on all the new stories in time for a brand new term at Hogwarts.
Being released as ebooks, the Pottermore Presents series consists of three short books, which include titbits from the website's archive as well as brand new writing from JK herself.
Book one is Hogwarts: An Incomplete and Unreliable Guide, and will explore loads more of the iconic school's mysteries and hidden treasures, while Of Power, Politics and Pesky Poltergeists is all about the Ministry of Magic and includes stories from Azkaban and a new piece of writing JK Rowling has penned about unscrupulous Potions Master Horace Slughorn.
That said we're probably most excited about book three, Of Heroism, Hardship and Dangerous Hobbies, which includes stories about Care of Magical Creatures teacher Silvanus Kettleburn AND a whole new story about Professor McGonagall and her involvement in the wizarding war.
HOW MAGICAL DOES ALL THAT SOUND?
More magical than that time Ron Weasley got starry-eyed and lovestruck thanks to those chocolates spiked with love potion, that's how.
The books will be available to buy on Pottermore, Amazon, Kobo and iBooks, so it really is time to get excited. Got some thoughts on all this? Drop up an owl or alternatively a tweet to @MTVUK.
