This had the potential to be a brilliant 2017 hook up but according to Dua Lipa, her and Harry Styles are just good mates. Boo.

Singer Dua Lipa suddenly found herself trending on Twitter, worldwide when fans caught wind that she’d been hanging out with One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles. 1D were whipped into a possible-new-romance-frenzy, sending the Twittersphere into wild craziness.

Unfortunately for them (and us, because hey, this could have been great), Dua and Hazzy are just pals.

The pop star told The Sun, “He’s a friend of mine. We’ve been friends for a while and we were just catching up. We just went, believe it or not, to a little risotto ball restaurant, and just hung out and caught up. My heart is set on someone else. He’s a chef and a model.”

A model who can cook? Hang outs with your friend Harry on the regs? Okay, Dua Lipa. You’re offish making us jealous.
