In an unexpected turn of events it would seem Perrie Edwards has still got a friend in One Direction, despite her ex having dramatically quit the band earlier this year.

According to reports, long-haired god Harry Styles has reached out to the Little Mix singer since her split from Zayn Malik, as it's reported he was 'worried for her'.

"It's something Harry really understands from having his heart broken by his first girlfriend when he was 14," a source told the Daily Star.

"His heart immediately went out to Perrie and he called her up straight away. He's very spontaneous that way. It meant a lot to her," they added.
