Fans of Harry Styles had better get excited as it sounds like his debut solo album is going to be released into the world very, very soon.

As if 2017 wasn’t already exciting enough with Harry’s big screen debut coming up this summer in Christopher Nolan’s WWII drama Dunkirk (out in July!) but solo offerings are imminent.

And indeed the very head of Sony Records himself has said that the tracks we can expect are better than anyone might’ve expected.

"We're close and we're very excited," Sony Music CEO Rob Stringer told Billboard.

"We have a record we're incredibly excited about and it's not far away from being ready,” he added.

"We obviously want everything to be beautifully done, because we think he's here to stay. Harry has stepped up with the vision of someone who's authentic," he said.

Rob also thinks that all the former 1D boys can have huge success (Zayn already has his first debut album Mind Of Mine has already been number 1) independent of each other.

"They didn't box themselves into a corner singing and dancing," he explained.

“It didn't have all the rules of the boy bands of the past where they're too boy-next-door, too sickly sweet,” he said.

"They weren't caricatures. And today, they're making smart choices. It doesn't surprise me that there's is a different path and they're doing pretty well."

Harry already blabbed to Robbie Williams last year that he had been collaborating with Bruno Mars and Max Martin – this album can’t come fast enough!
