Harry Styles Covered Fleetwood Mac In Live Lounge and Everything Is Right Again
He reminisced about One Direction as he went solo in the famous lounge for the first time...
With Hurricane Irma changing The Killers' plans, Harry Styles came to the rescue as BBC Radio 1's last minute replacement.
The dreamy singer stopped by the famous studio to perform a handful of songs from his solo debut album and he chose an absolute classic for that all-important cover, as he bravely took on Fleetwood Mac's 'The Chain'.
‘I think its such an iconic song,’ he said as he revealed his choice. ‘I’m a massive fan of them as a band and the music. We tried it and we really loved it.’
Same white shirt, couple more tattoos
But it's not you and it's not me
Tastes so sweet, looks so real
Sounds like something that I used to feel
But I can't touch what I see
We're not who we used to be
We're not who we used to be
We're just two ghosts standing in the place of you and me
Trying to remember how it feels to have a heartbeat
The fridge light washes this room white
Moon dances over your good side
And this was all we used to need
Tongue-tied like we've never known
Telling those stories we already told
'Cause we don't say what we really mean
We're not who we used to be
We're not who we used to be
We're just two ghosts standing in the place of you and me
We're not who we used to be
We're not who we used to be
We're just two ghosts swimming in a glass half empty
Trying to remember how it feels to have a heartbeat
We're not who we used to be
We're not who we used to be
We're just two ghosts standing in the place of you and me
We're not who we used to be
We don't see what we used to see
We're just two ghosts swimming in a glass half empty
Trying to remember how it feels to have a heartbeat
Trying to remember how it feels to have a heartbeat
I'm just trying to remember how it feels to have a heartbeat
It takes a lot of confidence to perform such a legendary tune by such an iconic name but we can wholly confirm that Harry definitely did the song justice.
He also reminisced on One Direction's Live Lounge performance before kicking off the solo set, expressing his fondness of the show and saying the band's performance "was fun as well."
He's not a man of many words, is he, our Harry? But when he uses that voice to sing, oh it's just lovely.
He started with his most recent solo single 'Two Ghosts' before going into 'Sign Of The Times' and he sounded absolutely incredible, with his soaring vocals backed by a full band.
Harry is releasing a live version of his self-titled album this month, an Apple Music exclusive titled Behind The Album: The Performances, and we could not be more excited after today's performance.
Until the full performances appear on the official YouTube channel later this week, we'll be watching these clips on repeat...

It's a sign of the times
Welcome to the final show
Hope you're wearin' your best clothes
You can't bribe the door on your way to the sky
You look pretty good down here
But you ain't really good
We never learn, we've been here before
Why are we always stuck and running from
The bullets?
The bullets?
We never learn, we've been here before
Why are we always stuck and running from
The bullets?
The bullets?
Just stop your crying
It's a sign of the times
We gotta get away from here
We gotta get away from here
Just stop your crying
It'll be alright
They told me that the end is near
We gotta get away from here
Just stop your crying
Have the time of your life
Breaking through the atmosphere
And things are pretty good from here
Remember everything will be alright
We can meet again somewhere
Somewhere far away from here
We never learn, we've been here before
Why are we always stuck and running from
The bullets?
The bullets?
We never learn, we've been here before
Why are we always stuck and running from
The bullets?
The bullets?
Just stop your crying
It's a sign of the times
We gotta get away from here
We gotta get away from here
Stop your crying
Baby, it will be alright
They told me that the end is near
We gotta get away from here
We never learn, we've been here before
Why are we always stuck and running from
The bullets?
The bullets?
We never learn, we've been here before
Why are we always stuck and running from
The bullets?
The bullets?
We don't talk enough
We should open up
Before it's all too much
Will we ever learn?
We've been here before
It's just what we know
Stop your crying, baby
It's a sign of the times
We gotta get away
We got to get away
We got to get away
We got to get away
We got to get away
We got to, we got to (away)
We got to, we got to (away)
We got to, we got to (away)
